Sunday School

Sunday School is a chance for children and young people to learn what the Bible says in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Sunday School runs from 3pm until 4:30pm every Sunday (even if it’s Christmas Day!) and is made up of two parts. The first hour takes place in a classroom setting with hymn and chorus singing, a Bible reading, a quiz and the main focus: an age-appropriate Bible lesson which is taught with plenty of visual aids and interaction, and to smaller groups. For the last half-an-hour the age groups reassemble in the lower hall for snacks and some sort of craft or activity.

During the year we hold a number of special events and trips, including our Prizegiving every November, our summer outing which takes place on a Saturday in July, special Easter and Christmas afternoons, and more!

New children are welcome to attend on any Sunday, and attendance is completely free. If you would like your children to attend, please get in touch or come along on Sunday at 3pm.

Online Sunday School materials

During the COVID-19 lockdowns, we provided Sunday School materials each week, including a Bible lesson, quizzes, activities and more. All of the online Sunday School material is still available in case it is helpful for attendees who cannot make it to Sunday School or for prospective children/parents who would like to see some examples of things we do.
