Quiz Easter Sunday – Sunday School 12th April


Well done! You know a lot about the Easter story. But have you believed in Jesus for yourself?

Don’t worry, have another go if you like. The most important thing is to understand that Jesus died on the cross for sins of anyone who believes, and ask yourself “do I believe, and have i repented of my sins?”

Jesus lived a perfect life, as He had to to be a perfect, spotless sacrifice for our sins.

John 3 vs 16 makes it very clear, it was for people who believe

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This was one of the occasions where Jesus was showing that death couldn’t hold Him and He would rise from the dead.

Jesus rose, as He had prophesied and explained, that He would rise on the third day.


#6 Jesus’ disciples should have known He would rise from the dead because:

Jesus told His disciples multiple times that He would rise from the dead, explaining how it was prophesied in the Old Testament and that as the Son of God, He could not be defeated by death but would rise victorious.
