Perhaps you should have another look at the lesson. But before you do, here’s another question to consider: will you seek the Lord today?
Just checking!
They brought everything to God in prayer. This is what we should do too, when we have difficult things in our lives.
The two boys were very different, and they were enemies for many years. God told Isaac and Rebekah that Jacob would be stronger than Esau.
Esau was very hungry. But he was also very careless, and he gave up the birthright as though it meant nothing to him.
Yes, all these things are hugely valuable. No money or possession can compare with them.
He tricked his father. He did get the blessing, because that was what God had decided – but God was not pleased with his lies.
Esau was very angry, and wanted to kill Jacob. However, he had spent his life not caring about the Lord, and sadly, he deserved to lose the blessing.
We often talk about this, and the correct answer is now! Today!

Well done! You’ve remembered a lot from the lesson today. Here’s a final question: are you trusting God’s plan or your own plan for your life?
Good effort with room for improvement. Here’s a final question: are you trusting God’s plan or your own plan for your life?
Eliezer had previously seen how the Lord had answered many prayers of Abraham and trusted that He would help him in this matter.
Rebekah trusted in the Lord God and was ready to follow His plan for her.
Well done if you got this one because it wasn’t in the lesson!

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon”.(Matthew Ch. 6 V 24)
Hmm…you could have done better!
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon”.(Matthew Ch. 6 V 24)
Lot’s Uncle Abraham was a godly man who loved the Lord.
Lot was a farmer and chose to live near Sodom in a fertile area where his animals and crops would grow well and he would get rich quickly.
Lot had heard that Sodom was a city full of wicked people who hated God. Lot was a Christian who loved God and knew that being friends with the people in the city would lead him to do bad things and make God angry.
Lot was a Christian and loved God. However, he began to love the wicked sinful people of Sodom more than God as he spent more time with them. This made God very angry.
God sent one of His Angels to lead Lot and some of his family safely out of Sodom.
If we love and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and do things that please Him, He will provide us with all we could ever need and more besides.
Christians should be friendly to everyone, but should be closest friends with other Christians to help them to serve the God whom they love and trust.
We should always pray to God for help as He knows what is best for us if we love and trust in Him.

Well done! You’ve remembered the lesson about Abraham and Isaac very well. Here’s one more question: have you believed in the Lord Jesus and asked for His forgiveness?
You could have done better. Have another go if you like, but before you do, here’s one final question:have you believed in the Lord Jesus and asked for His forgiveness?

God had made a promise to Abraham that He would give him a son, and He always keeps His promises. He had also promised Abraham that his descendants would become a great nation.
God was testing Abraham’s faith and Abraham showed that he was willing to put the Lord God ahead of everything else.
John 3.16 The memory verse! For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son
Isaac wanted to know where the lamb for the sacrifice was. The Lord God provided the sacrifice to take the place of Isaac.
The Lord God provided His Son as a sacrifice to take our place and take our punishment so that we could be forgiven and receive everlasting life.
Only belief in the Lord Jesus can save us and allow us to go to heaven.
